Review Guidelines
Honest reviews from people who know a program help others choose care. These guidelines keep reviews fair, useful, and safe for everyone.
Who Can Write a Review
- Former clients, family members or friends of a client, and professionals who referred someone or worked alongside the program.
- One review per person per facility. You can update your review later by submitting a new one from the same email address.
- Owners, employees, and anyone paid or rewarded by a facility may not review it or its competitors.
What to Include
- Your own experience: the treatment, the staff, the setting, and whether it was worth the cost.
- Facts others can use, such as how admissions went, what a typical day looked like, or how the program handled aftercare.
- Balanced detail. Thoughtful critical reviews are welcome, and so are positive ones.
What We Don't Publish
- Other people's names, contact details, or health information, including staff members' full names or other clients' details.
- Your own last name, phone number, or medical record details. Share only what you're comfortable having public.
- Threats, harassment, hate speech, profanity aimed at people, or accusations of crimes. Report those to the authorities instead.
- Reviews that were paid for, offered in exchange for a discount or gift, or written about the wrong facility.
- Advertising, links, or content copied from elsewhere.
How Reviews Are Checked
Every review is confirmed by email and read by our team before it's published. We don't edit what you write; if a review breaks these guidelines we decline it and tell you why.
We never remove or hide reviews because a facility pays us or asks us to. Advertising has no influence on reviews.
Reviews written from a facility's own invitation link are labeled "Invited by the facility". A star rating appears once a listing has at least three published reviews.
Facility Responses
Facilities that claim their free listing can post one public response to each review. Responses must follow these guidelines too and may not include any information about the reviewer that the reviewer didn't share.
See a review that breaks these rules? Use "Report" on the review, or contact us.
Reviews are the personal opinions of their authors, not of Teen Drug Rehabs. They aren't medical advice. If you're in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
